Narrative Reprisal for the death of two men at Richard Alcorn's hut. Alcorn was overseer for Capt. Robert Lethbridge. His wife and children were also in the hut. Magistrate Robert Scott led a party including 5 military, 4 settlers and 4 Aboriginal trackers. They came upon an Aboriginal camp early in the morning killing at least 18 people and wounding more. Some members of the party were wounded.
