Reprinted as “Lost Heartsease Leaves” in last number of Events of the Month, Jan 2, 1865, pp. 615-618. The letters from Keble reprinted in Musings over the Christian Year make it clear that this was originally written as the ending of Heartsease, and was not an afterthought.
