Your letter followed me, on an expedition to Salisbury, where I have been seeing ‘the moot’. They had a moot there with the speakers at the summer house, and the people on the terraces, before one of the Elections, and the voices were perfectly heard. Dear Mr Bullock, Here is Salisbury. I am sorry I could find no more to say about it, the cathedral having been all built at once, and the Bishops not having been memorable except the last four. Burnet I could not put in! The sunshine on the Altar on the 15th of August is quite true. I have seen it twice
