My dear Arthur Humbert was the name of the Dolphin. I did not know I had put it ambiguously. There was a Dauphin in Auvergne and in Montpensier, till the last turned into a Duke. They did bear dolphins, but I don’t think anyone knows whether the arms came from the dolphin or the dolphin from the title.
