This was a periodical which ran 1821-1856, designed for working-class readers, in which the Rt. Rev. George Davys was much interested and to which he contributed. CMY mentions (5 December 1838) that her family had ‘hatched up amongst us’ some articles for it, which must have been among her earliest appearances in print.
