He married first (1786) Sarah (d. 1828) daughter of the Rev. Henry Yonge, vicar of Great Torrington, Devon, and secondly (1829) Hilare Barlow (d. 1857). The Rev. Henry Yonge (d. 1784) was of the family of Caynton, Shropshire, and not related to CMY [Alumni Oxonienses; PB]
