Biography
Daughter of WCY’s eldest brother, the Rev. Duke Yonge, Vicar of Antony, and Cordelia (Colborne) Yonge, stepsister of FMY. This younger Cordelia Yonge, known as Delia, married (1849), as his third wife, General John Oldfield (1789-2 Aug 1863), aide de camp to the Queen Her sole executor was her brother Dr John Francis Duke Yonge. Her husband had 15 children by his first and second wives and none by her. His executor was his son Colonel John Rawdon Oldfield of Oldfield Lawn, Westbourne [information from Ian Yonge]. Delia Oldfield's dates were 25 Nov 1807-6 Sept 1864.
