Biography
A county landowner, he lived at Laverstoke, near Whitchurch, and, like Sir William Heathcote, had evidently enlisted in the Hampshire Yeomanry. D.H. Moutray Read, Highways and Byways in Hampshire (1923) mentions then surviving letters to him in CMY’s ‘clear and easy writing’ but his family do not seem to have them any more. [PB]
