Biography

He was founder (1848), with Harriet Brownlow, of the Society of All Saints’ Sisters of the Poor, which ran a home for incurable women and children in Mortimer Street during the 1850s and in 1859 began to take over the nursing at UCH. [ODNB; Holloway 1959]
