Biography
A Gosling as Iceberg 1867-9, she lived at Swarthdale, Ulverston, Lancs, daughter of Commander George Henry Carleton Sunderland RN (1814-1876) and his wife Margaret (d. 1860) daughter of Lt-Col Story RA [Bardsley, Chronicles of Ulverston] She was first cousin to Mary Anderson Morshead, their mothers being sisters.
