Biography
She was a Gosling as ‘Shamrock’ 1866/7, when her address was 3 Cranfield Villas/ 37 Oakley Square Chelsea. She was daughter of the Rev. Edward Synge (1798-1859) perpetual curate of Trinity Church, Matlock, and Emily Steele; she seems to have lived with her brother, the Rev. Francis Synge (1837-98) curate of St. Luke's Chelsea.
