Biography
He appears in Alumni Oxoniensis as born 1855/6 which is consistent with the 1891 census, when he was with the Becks in Bildeston, described as MA Pembroke College Oxford and unmarried, although he could be the Herbert Simcoe Walter married in 1888 in Chelsea. [His death was reported in Trewman’s Exeter Flying Post 10 March 1897]
