Biography
Son of JBY. He was killed at Rhodes Drift, Crocodile River, in what is now Zimbabwe, during the Boer War. Recorded as a medical student aged 19 in 1881 census, probably in mistake for his brother Arthur, he emigrated to Rhodesia and also served in the Matabele War of 1896. [wills index, left £4881)
