Biography
It is possible that CMY's Miss Cox is the same as the Agnes Cox who published
Zenza and Ounah, the Indian sisters, and other poems (Windermere: Johnson 1887). Miss Cox evidently knew the author of
'The Cardioscope', an early series in
MP, and perhaps that was written by
Harriet Lucy Cox, who is a probable early contributor. However, there is little substantial evidence here.
