Biography
He was the son of the Rev. Duke Yonge of Puslinch and of Charlotte Cordelia Pode, who were both first cousins of CMY, on her mother's and father's sides respectively, and were each other's second cousins. Charles Yonge married (1899) Catherine Ada Helena Bowen. He is remembered for the collection of rare crocuses he naturalized in the churchyard at Newton Ferrars.
