Biography
It seems reasonable to identify Mary Bogue with this person, who married on 22 November 1838 the Reverend Francis Smith (1810-1851), Rector of Tarrant Rushton, 5th son of Sir John Wyldbore Smith, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Anne Marriott. Richard Bogue was JBY’s godfather, see Coleridge, Life 74. He was probably FMY's first cousin, son (or perhaps grandson) of her father's aunt Mary (Bargus) Bogue.
