Biography
Elizabeth Yonge, sister of CMY's grandfather the Rev. Duke Yonge, married a local landowner, Philip Morshead of Widey Court, Egg Buckland, Plymouth. They had an only daughter Elizabeth Morshead, who married Colonel Anderson and had 11 children called Anderson Morshead. Of these the heir, the Rev. John Philip Anderson Morshead married (1845)his second cousin Alethea Yonge of Puslinch, Pentire was the father of Mary Anderson Morshead. Their sister Elizabeth Morshead, referred to by Anne Yonge, died in Devon in 1849. [Burke LG 1871; death register]
