CMY's reference to a picture by Lady Dalmeny must be to Lady Catherine Lucy Wilhelmina Stanhope (d.1901) who married, first (1843), Lord Dalmeny (1809-1851) and, secondly (1854), the 4th Duke of Cleveland. She was the mother of the 5th Earl of Rosebery (1847-1929), the Prime Minister, who was at this date a child and the holder of the courtesy title Lord Dalmeny.
