He was present at the wedding of Jane Colborne to Alexander Montgomery Moore because his wife's sister was married to Jane's brother.He married (1838) the Hon. Anne de Burgh (1818-1872), daughter of Ulysses de Burgh, 2nd Lord Downes of Aghanville.
