Frances Elizabeth (Eyre) Nelson Countess Nelson(d.1878)
Biography
Daughter of John Maurice Eyre of Brickworth, she married (1821) the second Earl Nelson of Trafalgar (d.1835). Her husband was the son of Thomas Bolton and Susannah Nelson, sister of the naval hero. He changed his surname to Nelson on inheriting the title by special remainder from another uncle shortly before his death.
