She married (3 July 1883) the Rev. John Owen Evans (b.1844/5) and was living She might be the 'E.L.E.B.' who did two translations from the French to which CMY contributed prefaces, Gold Dust (1880) and Spring Buds (1883). The North Wales Chronicle reported (14 July 1883) under ‘Marriages’: 'on the 3rd inst. at Otterbourne . . . the Rev. John Owen Evans, M. A., vicar of Towyn, Denbighshire, eldest son of the Venerable the Archdeacon of Merioneth, to Ella Louisa Ellenborough, youngest daughter of the late Colonel Burlton, C.B., of Oaklands Hall, Middlesex, formerly Commissary General of Bengal.'
