Biography
The daughter of W. Rogers, she married (1860), James Arthur Yonge (1822-1864), barrister, third son of CMY’s Eton uncle. Hannah (Rogers) Yonge remarried Charles Egerton Carey in the Isle of Wight in 1874 and was living with him in Botley, Hants. in 1891, and as his widow with her sister in 1901. One letter to her refers to Stoke Lodge, which seems to have been afterwards occupied by James Arthur Yonge's younger brother George Edward Yonge (1824-1904).
