Daughter of Thomas Chamberlayne of Cranbury Park, she married (1876) Cecil Ralph Howard, who later succeeded (1881) as 6th Earl of Wicklow. Her age is variable in the censuses. She seems likely to be the Miss Chamberlayne driving a pony carriage in 1853.
