Biography
Daughter of George and Martha Collins of Otterbourne, she was housemaid to the Rev. George Merriman, headmaster of Royal Grammar School, Guildford, in 1862. She was probably working for the Moberlys in the Isle of Wight in 1869 when CMY heard via Mr Wither her report that George Moberly had been made Bishop of Salisbury.
