Biography
Coxe became Bodley's Librarian in 1860. He was father of Susan Esther (Coxe) Wordsworth, the first wife of the Rt. Rev. John Wordsworth. CMY had probably met him through her friendship with the Rev. Edwards Sewell and his sister Janetta. [ODNB]
