Biography
The wife of the Rev. George Herbert Curteis (1823/4-1894), head of Lichfield Theological College in 1861, Rector of Waldron, Sussex in 1881, chaplain of Royal Savoy Chapel in 1891, she wrote a life of Bishop Selwyn , and children's verse. Another possible candidate for this Mrs Curteis is Frances Curteis (1816/7-1887), mother of Bessie Charlotte Curteis, a known contributor.
