She also possibly contributed an article on naval subjects earlier than 'The Naval Review' which is NOT by her. She might perhaps be Hannah (Dryden) Donkin (b. North Shields, Northumberland 1840/1), daughter of John Dryden, shipowner, of Southampton, who married (1864) Richard Sims Donkin, steamship owner, of Wolverton House, Whitwell, Hants., in the 1881 census.
