Biography
The Rev. Francis Dyson (b.London 1818/19), Vicar of St. Sampson, Cricklade, had daughters Penelope Francis (b.1848/9) and Charlotte Cara (b.1852/3) and son Francis (b. 1849/50) [1861, 1871, 1881 census]. He was the son of the Rev. Canon Francis Dyson (1784/5-1858), Rector of North and South Tedworth, who was brother to the Rev. Charles Dyson, Rector of Dogmersfield. In the 1851 census Canon Dyson was living in Great Malvern.
