Biography
He was probably ‘Vertumnus II’, dating from Bitton Vicarage, Bristol, who took over conducting the ‘Monthly Packet Botanical Society’in the February 1884 issue, and ran it at least until January 1886. His predecessor, who started the society in the June 1879 issue and dated from Preston Vicarage, Sandwich, was perhaps the Rt. Rev. Henry Lascelles Jenner or a member of his family.
