Biography
He married (1839) Matilda Blanche Crawley-Boevey (1817/8-1887). His aunt Mary Gibbs (d.1819) had married the Rev. Charles Crawley (1756-1849), brother of CMY’s paternal grandmother Catharina (Crawley) Yonge, the first of many marriages connecting the various families. His wife was the granddaughter of Charles and Catharina Crawley’s eldest brother Sir Thomas Crawley-Boevey 2nd Bt. (1745-1818).
