Biography
Known as Julia, daughter of the Rt. Rev. George Davys (1780–1864), Bishop of Peterborough, she married (24 October 1839) the Very Rev. Marsham Argles (1814-1892). Her large family included Edith Argles, Marsham Argles, Alice Rawnsley and Agnes ('Dolly') Thicknesse.
