Biography
He married (1866) Louisa, second daughter of Lt- Col Edward Walter. In the 1891 census he was living at Itchen Cottage, Itchen Abbas with his wife and daughters Georgina, 23, Edith, 22, Dora E., 17, Gertrude, 14, Violet, 13, and son Frank, 11. In the 1901 census he was living at Upcott, Bishops Hall, Somerset, with his wife Louisa, 59, and daughters Elizabeth, 26, Gertrude, 24, Violet Amy, 22, and three servants. The probate of his will was obtained by Gertrude Louisa Charlotte Manley wife of Harry Lamont Manley.
