Biography
He married, first, Charlotte Collyer. She died, probably in child birth in 1834 in Canada and H Joseph married (1837), also in Canada, Jane Yonge, CMY's father's first cousin. His only child, the Rev. George Collyer Harris was born of the first marriage. The Rev.Joseph Harris was educated at St Paul’s School and St John’s College, Cambridge, Fellow of Clare Coll, Cambridge 1824-9, priest 1825, principal of Upper Canada College 1829-38, curate of Cockington 1845-8, of Tor Mohun 1848- his death. Died at Sorel, Torquay, [obituary Guardian 29 June 1881, 913 ]
