Biography
He was to decide on the date for the consecration of Eastleigh church, 1868, Eastleigh being a new parish carved out of Bishopstoke. The first incumbent, the Rev. W. A. Longlands, was appointed Vicar of Eastleigh, by Bishopstoke Station in the following year. [Jackson’s Oxford Journal 23 January 1869]
