Biography
Son of Sir William Heathcote, he married (20 Aug 1879) Mary Forbes Young (d. 13 Jan 1903), daughter of the Rev. James Gavin Young, Vicar of Hursley. For some years he ran a prep school at Hursley. However, he is listed in the 1891 census as a 'publisher', and it seems likely that he was the son of Sir William whom CMY mentioned in 1887 as working for George Allen and Sons.
