Daughter of WCY’s sister Anne (Yonge) Pode, and sister of John Duke Pode, Charlotte Cordelia (Pode) Yonge and Anne Catharina (Pode) Woollcombe, she married (1873) the Rev. Thomas Harold Frederick Hickes (d. 1907), who was curate of Hursley in 1875 [PO Directory Hants 1875; LG 1952; birth register]
