Biography
She and her sister Penelope were daughters of John Farnaby Cator (1816-1899), who assumed the surname Lennard and was created Sir John Lennard, 1st Bt. in 1880. Their mother was his first wife Laura Golding (d.1850), who was cousin to Anne Sturges Bourne. Laura Lennard married (1878) William Hoare (d.1925).
