A cousin of the feminist campaigner Jessie Boucherett, she married (1869) Sir Rainald Knightley, who was created (1892) 1st Lord Knightley of Fawsley; she was on the GFS Executive Committee, and on the SPEW Committee 1875-1890, 1894.
