Biography
There are payments to Miss G. Knollys from CMY's bank account, 1856, and a reference to a 'House of Recovery' run by Miss Knollys. It seems probable that Gertrude Caroline Knollys, who in the 1861 census was living at Hurstpierpoint with a number of boarders, is the person referred to on both occasions.
