Money Spinner was either Maria Marriott or Mary Ann Marriott, of Hythe, who was one of the most effective Spiders, according to CMY; they were daughters of the Rev. John Marriott, Vicar of St. John the Baptist, Hythe, in the New Forest. The family later moved to Eastleigh, where the two daughters did good works. [Moor, Erminois]
