Either she or her elder sister Maria was 'Money Spinner', a particularly brilliant contributor to the Spider Society in the Monthly Packet. In the 1901 census they were living together at Eastleigh, and one of them must therefore be the Miss Marriott who organised the reprinting of Last Heartsease Leaves in 1900.In the 1891 census her cousin Susanna Judith Watson and visitor Amy Marriott Watson are present (the two latter appear as daughters of the Rev. John Watson, Vicar of Guilsborough, Northants in the 1861 census). Was there a relationship to H. B. Marriott Watson? [1851 census; birth index; 1881 census Eastleigh; 1891, 1901]
