Biography
Described as a new Gosling as ‘Sparrowhawk’ in September 1867, she was living at Upper East Hayes, Bath, and was daughter of Major Thomas Richard Baker (1802-1884) J.P., 7th Fusiliers Rtd. and Mary Frances Anderson Morshead (d. 1843). She was first cousin to fellow Goslings
Mary and Beatrice Anderson Morshead, and was related to CMY through her great-grandmother. [LG 1906 Baker of Bayfordbury, 1871 census]
