Biography
She was a first cousin of Mary Coleridge and Fanny Patteson, her father being the Rev. Dr. James Duke Coleridge (1789-1857). Her mother was Sophia, daughter of Col. Stanhope Badcock. She was the widow of the Rev. Thomas Waddon Martyn (1808-1846), Rector of Lifton and Vicar of Thorverton.
