1Empty envelope addressed to Miss Smith/ 8 Wellington Road/ Old Charlton/ SE, the stamp and front postmark cut off, postmarked on reverse London SE 1 April 1864, and annotated in pencil ‘Indian muslin & grandmothers’. However, the letter which deals with those topics is dated 28 March and has its own envelope.
