Copy outletter book British Library Add MSS.55386 (2) P.548

Dear Miss Yonge,

How does page(?) suit your idea of the History book? What you sent me was about 240 pages like the specimens. So the whole would be too much for one volume. Can we make two – or three? Are there any natural divisions?

Very faithfully yours

A. Macmillan

Among the books that were transferred to us from Parker are some copies of Dynevor Terrace in the two volume form we don’t sell [illegible]  of course. Had I not better sell them to Routledge or Smiths at a very cheap price?
