MS British Library Add MSS 54920: 101

Dear Mr Macmillan
Would you be so kind as to add your signature to this cheque. I never perceived the omission till I sent it to be changed.

My brother has been seeing Huntley and Palmers biscuit manufactory, and has written an account of it, which he tells me to offer to you, in case it should be supposed suitable to the Magazine, it is really very curious and entertaining.1

I am afraid the earlier cameos want a great deal of doctoring up before they can be made into a book, but I always hope to do so

Yours sincerely
C M Yonge

Thanks for Mr Maclear’s direction.
