Dear Miss Yonge
I will see Theuerdank somehow though I fear I shall not be at Oxford before I go to America on the 28th. The Bodleian dont let books out – in which they are quite right. Cambridge U.L. does – in which they are quite wrong, though I often benefit by it. I have written to Cambridge. When I see what the pictures look like I will be able to judge how the book can be treated so as to have some novel effect.1

1CMY had suggested that when The Dove in the Eagle's Nest was published in volume form it should be illustrated with pictures from Der Theuerdank (1517).
