Dear Miss North,
I hope the translation of ‘Mulhause’ is ready as this is the time at which it ought to be sent to the printers. I hope you were thanked for the Hints on Reading but my time is much taken up at present by my mother’s infirm state, and a friend who was staying here wrote for me. I think if possible it would be best to avoid French idioms in English
