MS Mrs Katherine Wykes-Sneyd

My dear Pixie

Goosedom will be very glad of Miss Agnes Acland.1 I believe I first missed seeing her at Oxford but I have often heard of her. I enclose a sheet of rules, and will tell Double Daisy to send her the questions.

your faithful
Mother Goose

Tell Miss Acland to choose her Gosling name

1Agnes Henrietta Acland (b.1851) who seems to have become a Gosling as Acorn, was the daughter of Sir Thomas Dyke Acland (1809–1898), 11th Bt., a prominent Tractarian layman with a special interest in education.
