MS Charlotte Mitchell/6

My dear Madam
Pray thank Mrs Codrington1 very much for her kind present of Mota photographs I did not possess any of them before, though I have some of Norfolk island and Florida1

yours truly
C M Yonge

1This present was no doubt given in connection with CMY's work on the Life of John Coleridge Patteson, with whom these places were associated. Mrs Codrington was probably a relation (perhaps the mother) of the Rev. Robert Henry Codrington (1830-1922), who succeeded Bishop Patteson as head of the Melanesian mission in 1871.
